Scripture:

“Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)

More often than not, people over-complicate prayer.

You do not need to be eloquent in speech before your prayers are heard.

What matters most to God is your faith in His Son, the sincerity of your heart, and the passion and desperation behind your words.

If you are ever unsure about what to pray for, the Bible gives us a clear guide.

It teaches us to begin with thanksgiving and then move into praise.

Thanksgiving helps you recognise and focus on the wonderful things God has done for you, while praise shifts your attention to His nature and character.

God is truly delighted when we approach Him this way.
