Scripture:

“Put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.” — Ephesians 4:24 (ESV)

I believe yesterday’s devotional reshaped your understanding of holiness. Holiness is not God trying to make life difficult or unbearable for you.

It is God calling you into the fullness of who He designed you to be.

Many people form their identity from their fallen human nature—corrupted by sin—and then adopt labels based on sinful tendencies and affirm them as who they are.

This is a dangerous mistake. You must refuse to see yourself as anything less than who you truly are in God—holy.

Do not define yourself by your flaws and failures.

Stay rooted in who God created you to be from the beginning, and cling firmly to this identity of holiness wherever you go and whatever you do.

Reflection
What areas of your life are you still defining by past mistakes instead of God’s truth?

Prayer

Lord, help me see myself the way You see me. I reject every false label and embrace the identity of holiness You have given me. Strengthen me to walk daily in who I truly am in You. Amen.
